I have been to some weird and wonderful places in search of graffiti, but this place I think tops the chart. That somewhere like this could be so close to a big city geographically, but a whole world away in every other aspect, really blew my mind. The people we met were really nice and helpful but the experience was surreal. Booms and CoLor Art were given permission to paint two caravans, the amazing results are above and below.
Speaking of surreal, Fauna Graphic and Foundry produced their first, hopefully of many, collaborations called Chariots of the Gods. Sadly it was damaged within days of completion, an increasingly common occurrence across the city at the moment.
The Jackalope by Nymph, new arrival to the scene. A Jackalope is a cross between a pygmy deer and a killer rabbit, a creature with an ability to mimic the human voice. The females produce milk which is useful for medicinal purposes, but they only mate during electrical storms, which explains there rarity, that, and there passion for whisky, which makes them easy to hunt, apparently….
Still loving the work that’s going on in the city, shame about those feeling the need to damage it.
