Just A Walkin’ In The Sunshine

DSCF8195 StitchCheeky little hidden piece this, by Skint, worth braving the brambles for though.DSCF8198Took some pics of this awesome piece by Naked Mercury, who asked me not to post any shots of the piece before it was finished, well it’s finished now ūüôāDSCF8219I worry about Coloquix sometimes, inspired by tarot cards or a fascination with bondage, you decide!¬†DSCF8226 StitchEug and CoLor Art, handy in any situation…DSCF8241Little sticky Tekonta Secta.DSCF8246 Stitch4Eyes and Tony C**t, yes that’s what it says.DSCF8253Toupe, from the north east I think, has paid us a visit again, I do like his work.DSCF8265I do know who did this, I think, but I’m not sure of his name, love the skulls though. What I meant to say was, I couldn’t remember his name, but I’ve been reminded, it’s ne_illustration.DSCF8275¬†Bob and the low winter sun.DSCF8291Rayna,quite an old one, clearly I don’t get out enough.DSCF8309Mars,not a new one, just took me ages to find it, and I only fell down one hole.DSCF8357I adore kid Acnes’ stabby women, there’s a new batch out and about, and he’s got an exhibition on here¬†http://www.bandbgallery.com/future-exhibition-standard-practice-by-kid-acne¬†well worth a visit.

All in all a pleasant day out even if I did look a bit of a prat with my one very muddy knee on the tram.

It’s All Going on!

DSCF5120Mars has been revisiting his childhood again, Orville, he’s his very best friend! ¬†ūüėČ

DSCF5118¬†Time? I’m really bad at reading letter pieces, but I do like it.DSCF5113This is something different, I’m guessing not anyone local, love the style.

DSCF5106I worry when Booms goes quiet, but when he then reappears with an epic masterpiece like this, I’m reassured that balance is restored.

DSCF5092How many hamsters can you fit in a phone box, answers on a postcard please to D7606.

DSCF5091Had to revisit this place because my first shots of this awesome Rateone piece were rubbish, think I’ve done it justice now.

DSCF5086Sour, making good use of any space.DSCF5083Tekonta Secta and CoLor, just wonderful.DSCF5072C3 x D7606, becoming regular visitors lately, the more the merrier!DSCF5075Mr Booms and CoLor, a lesson in painting on stairs and the decay of a dead pigeon.

DSCF5047A Coloquix lady being lusted over by a Rateone monster while a jealous Greenz rabbit looks on furiously, it’s like an episode of Eastenders…DSCF5061Not just a Mars favourite, one of mine too, Pinky and the Brain.DSCF5032Jaer, ¬†love the piece but have to say I don’t know who the little fellow is.

DSCF5039One of Kid Acnes’ stabby women, not sure if it’s been doctored but she looks like she’s holding a vibrator to me, or perhaps she’s a ladyboy?DSCF5042Not sure who did this but I have my suspicions.DSCF5043Bob, he’s a devil!DSCF5046Dyson and Rambo, throw up masters at the moment.

On a bit of a catch up spree at the moment, hopefully will get another post up in the next day or two.

Roadtrippin’

DSCF1732Been on a few road trips recently 2 to a place I’d been before and a third to a new (to me) spot and I went with a few friends this time. Found this Boaster piece, wish I’d seen it intact.

DSCF1736Somehow I managed to miss this magnificent Tekonta Secta piece on my first visit.

DSCF1811Love this wall and the reflection made my day.

DSCF1879Fancy seeing him here, he looks surprised to see me too!

DSCF2433Felt very privileged to watch Fauna Graphic work, and I witnessed her near death experience when some slates from the roof decided to relocate themselves to the inside of the building exactly where she was painting! Dangerous business this sometimes.

DSCF2461The finished piece ‘Nature Nurse’, a great new character I hope to see again.

DSCF2441A dark piece by CoLor at the entrance of a rather strange tunnel.

DSCF2542Foundry was practising a piece for an upcoming huge wall project in Wolverhampton.

DSCF2574Fauna and Color collaboration, Meerkats and a Great Tit, accompanied by a strange chap in a mask, obviously. Favourite shot of that day, when asked if I wanted to see the mask, this was totally not what I expected.

DSCF3208I’d love to know who did this, there’s no sign of a name on it, I like it, a lot.

DSCF3248Fame kills, apparently, set up for  a model shoot perhaps?

DSCF3370I spy with my little eye…

DSCF3377Him again!

DSCF3380Color and Nymph, good to watch her style and confidence improving with each piece she does.

Hopefully will be revisiting these places soon, can’t wait to see what’s new!

Old Places, New Bits

DSCF3517Graffiti and urbex go pretty much hand in hand, although sadly due to its soaring popularity too much information is ending up in the public domain and as a result not many new locations¬†appear these days and if they do the window of opportunity is usually very small before a building is sealed up again. That said, the old favourites still become accessible every now and then and I was lucky enough recently to revisit two places that have a special place in my heart. Clearly I wasn’t the only one, Booms had been here too, as had quite a few others.

DSCF3496Dyson, a piece with a view.

DSCF3493A lovely blue horned monster thing from Rate One.

DSCF3490Teml, I think, somebody will let me know if I’m wrong.

DSCF3484Tekonta Secta in pink, a girly Tek?

DSCF3467Smiley Selasie, not a regular contributor, or perhaps I’m looking in the wrong places.

DSCF3463Color x Booms an excellent combination.

DSCF3534Shrooms by Nymph.

DSCF3527One of Coloquixs’ growing number of beautiful cat ladies, and this one is in extra large!

DSCF3509Is it me or are these cats starting to take over the world?

DSCF3455On my way back I spotted this piece by Rayna, a nice little find. Looking forward to what I may find next…

Rollin’ Under The Melody

DSCF3138 StitchWhat I love about my passion for graffiti is that moment when you see a wall you hadn’t expected to see, the buzz is awesome, and this was a jawdropper! Eug x Tekonta Secta x Phes x CoLor Art, wonderful!

DSCF3394Well! You don’t see that everyday!

DSCF3132I think this is Bobs’ handiwork, I really like it, but I doubt it’s still there, there were adhesive marks at the side of this, so something had already been removed.

DSCF3028The Grim Reaper by Mars? A guess on both counts. I like how he’s guarding the doorway.

DSCF3178http://youtu.be/L9WfyUBZ7I4¬†Have to say that Kid Acnes’Art Fags are not generally my favourites but I love this tune!

DSCF3435Painted as a tribute to a friend who has joined the RAF, Pawski and Mace have smashed it again. This is truly amazing close up and personal, so real that the gun follows you……………it honestly does! Another total jawdropper.

DSCF3105Bubba 2000 has decided to call it a day as far as the graff/art scene goes at the moment. I’m sure I read somewhere that he thinks it’s time to grow up. I’m sure he’ll get over it though, I stopped being a grown up a long time ago.

DSCF3103Last but not least, Pleb Alert! Because we all need to be alert to Plebs…don’t we?

Got To Catch ’em All, Can’t Catch ’em All!

DSCF0376Rayna, Skint and Rambo, gorgeous wall in a room with not much of a view and a not so delicate odour of pigeon poop.

DSCF0406Teml at the green, wonder how long this one will last, extremely rapid turnover there at the moment.

DSCF0420Tekonta Secta, love these, seem to miss more than I find though..

DSCF0418Riseone and Rek have made a colourful contribution on the new legal wall  in town.

DSCF0417Mila x Narke another cracker!

DSCF0369Sour, really like the cheeky character, I wonder if he has a name?

DSCF0381DSCF0402The Morrigan and the Puffin by CoLor Art. I described the Morrigan as my favouritest CoLor piece to date, and then he did the puffin, just too good!

DSCF0419It’s not often I’m beaten in my attempts to see a piece, but when there aren’t any stairs, I am! There is a way, but I’m in no rush to have any more broken bones, thank you very much. It’s a shame because there are about 4 pieces up there that I’ll never see, can’t catch ’em all I guess…
