Managed to bag a lift with some Sheffield chaps in a car with a wankel engine and off we went to Kenilworth.
It should be standard at these events that the name of the artist is written on the wall where they are to paint, so that I know who they are, I was very pleased. Tim at Brink Contemporary Arts is very good at this kind of thing, organising a cracking event and making people happy.
Good to see Kilo Sinstars Fba in action last time I saw him was at a jam in Sheffield last year.
Steve Edwards lovely guy with a distinctive style, nice to put a face to a name.
Binty Bint wore the smartest and most co-ordinated outfit on the day really nice to see her do her stuff. Camz and Moe. new to me, did 2 great pieces and I will be looking out for them in the future. Oh, and yes we had the odd spell of rain.
Tokes, Rascal, Apps, Reas, Kilo, Skema, Hush, Crom, Title and Vomit, what a wall. awesome.
Hush, Crom, Title and Vomit, bit more of a close up.
Crysp, good to see him again, missed his lovely lady though.
Tokes, Rascal, Apps and Reas, stunning, running out of words for how good the quality was, but trust me it was good.
The Sheffield posse of CoLor Art, Duse and Pawski pulled off 2 stunners on the day.
Simon75 worked on this cube concept that was sadly not finished by the time we left, the weather and the fact that he had to build the boxes first probably didn’t help, looked really cool though.
This piece by Sed was looking great and I think it was nearly done as we left.
There were also live acts on throughout the day, they’ve got some real talent round them parts.
All in all it was a fantastic day, that the weather didn’t spoil. Went to Kenilworth with some great people I am proud to call friends and hopefully made quite a few more while I was there. Tim was an absolute star as always, can’t wait to see what he organises next!
