I was very kindly offered a ride down to Kenilworth, well I couldn’t pass up on a trip to the second Brink – Street Fusion event there now could I? A fantastic turnout, again and we even had the weather on our side this time. 🙂 Got there early afternoon and everything was in full swing. Skank did a signature piece on clingfilm. Impressive work from Zooki. Curly, SSOSVA, so secret I never even saw him!The Man himself, bloody vandal! Great to meet SPZero76, love this. It’s all going on.Crom, I’m sure this guy lives in an alternate dimension, stunning stuff. Hush, always good to see a master in action. Color x Pawski x Foundry, Sheffield represents with excellent style as aways! Ghost x Crom x Reko x Hush x SPZero76, completed wall, well almost. Ghost Town Entertainment Crew, hip hop is not generally my bag, but these guys were phenomenal.Wingy x N4T4, who ever knew that Roland Rat could partner such a stunner.Interesting Sci-fi piece from Dynamix.Dopey, like this much. Fascinating to watch this luscious lady by Georgie come to life. Oner produced a corker. The lovely Skema, prolific as always only managed to do 2 pieces this time, must be slowing down 😉 It was a grand day out, all hail to ‘Mr Brink’ – Tim for pulling it all together, again. More please! 🙂
Don’t know where to start, Tamworth is an awesome annual event, organised by Vic of New Urban Era ,and it was once again amazing. And it’s fair to say that the Sheffield Massive was, well massive….The lush wall above by Jaer, Espre, Ryak and Booms was just part of it.
Silen T Bill, whom I believe I was talking to in the Wimpy, did this clever YMCA piece and the Hulk piece is by the charming, as always, Jay Sharples. D7606s’ post boxes made an appearance too and it was a pleasure to meet the man himself.
So yes it was a brilliant day saw a lot of lovely people I already knew, met a lot of lovely people I won’t forget and wussed out on talking to Gnasher….. Oh and did I mention that the wonderful Espre painted something especially for me, good job I’m not big headed… much!
Managed to bag a lift with some Sheffield chaps in a car with a wankel engine and off we went to Kenilworth.
It should be standard at these events that the name of the artist is written on the wall where they are to paint, so that I know who they are, I was very pleased. Tim at Brink Contemporary Arts is very good at this kind of thing, organising a cracking event and making people happy.
Binty Bint wore the smartest and most co-ordinated outfit on the day really nice to see her do her stuff. Camz and Moe. new to me, did 2 great pieces and I will be looking out for them in the future. Oh, and yes we had the odd spell of rain.
All in all it was a fantastic day, that the weather didn’t spoil. Went to Kenilworth with some great people I am proud to call friends and hopefully made quite a few more while I was there. Tim was an absolute star as always, can’t wait to see what he organises next!
